AI Agent
Create, inspect, and edit PowerPoint slides with natural-language instructions.
The AI Agent works against the active PowerPoint presentation. It can inspect the current deck, make edits, and verify the result without converting the presentation into a flat image.
Start an agent task
- Open the AI Agent tab in the offgen task pane.
- Select the relevant slide or objects when your request is local.
- Describe the outcome you want, including the target slide when it is not obvious.
- Review the agent’s progress and any questions or approval steps.
- Check the completed changes directly in PowerPoint.
Examples:
Turn slide 4 into a conclusion-led executive summary.
Create three slides from this brief and match the design of the current deck.
Replace the chart data on slide 7 and keep its existing formatting.
Find an approved process slide in our library and adapt it to this content. What the agent can do
- Read slides, text, objects, layouts, and the deck’s design system.
- Create, duplicate, move, reorder, and delete slides.
- Edit text, charts, shapes, and supported master elements.
- Search approved library items, icons, logos, and image assets.
- Build new editable slides when no suitable template exists.
- Check changed slides for layout and visual issues.
Give better instructions
- State the audience and purpose for new content.
- Name the target slide or selection for edits.
- Say what must remain unchanged, especially for tightly governed templates.
- Attach or paste the source material that should ground the result.
- For factual or numerical content, identify the source rather than asking the agent to invent detail.
The agent uses your organization’s settings and available content. It does not replace your final review of facts, approvals, or protected wording.
