Cross Consult, a Munich consultancy for mixed leadership and provider of Cross Mentoring programmes across Germany, wanted offers, CVs and programme decks that look like Cross Consult every time, without rebuilding them by hand.
For 25 years, Cross Consult has designed company-wide Cross Mentoring programmes, internal mentoring, and trainings on female leadership and diversity for corporates and public institutions. The team of about ten consultants runs programmes at six sites across Germany.
A new corporate identity made an old problem visible. Offers lived in Word, training decks ran to 40 or 50 slides, and every site had its own version of the same info pack. Keeping all of it on brand meant a lot of copying, deleting and fixing.
Starting in June 2026, Cross Consult tested offgen with a small team. offgen loaded their slide master and brand rules, built workflows for their recurring documents, and ran regular feedback sessions until the output matched their CI. By the end of the pilot, Marketing Manager Bianca La Torre was building her own workflows.
With offgen, Cross Consult:
- Moved offers from Word into PowerPoint, built on their own master and locked standard slides
- Set up workflows for offers, offer variants and consultant CVs
- Built a self-service workflow that assembles the info pack for any combination of their six sites
- Started moving legacy decks onto the new corporate design with the offgen agent
- 6 → 1
- Six location decks replaced by one master workflow
- 4
- Workflows in use: offers, offer variants, CVs and info packs
- 3 months
- From first demo to an annual licence

The challenge: brand consistency in a small team
Cross Consult has no design department. Offers range from small coaching requests to public tenders, and each consultant pulled slides from a shared master of 50 to 60 slides and adapted them as she saw fit. Old blue bullet points, missing footers and the wrong font weight crept in.
The team had tried generic AI tools before. Bianca La Torre, who owns the brand and the marketing material, summed up the results:
“We had already made a few attempts at creating complete presentations with Copilot. Unfortunately, the results were unusable.”
Dr. Tanja Haupt, Senior Consultant, put the gap in one sentence:
“There are lots of great tools that create beautiful presentations, but unfortunately not in our CI.”
The biggest time sink sat in Bianca's own work. Cross Consult's info pack has one master file with key facts, mentoring journeys and testimonials for every site. For each prospect, she deleted the slides that didn't apply and exported a PDF.
“It isn't a demanding task, but it takes time. We have six sites, so you end up doing it six times.”
Workflows built around their own documents
offgen started with Cross Consult's master and a written set of brand rules: Poppins Light for body text, Poppins Semibold instead of bold, grey text, blue checkmarks, and a fixed footer with page number, deck title and logo.
On top of that, offgen built workflows for the documents the team produces again and again. The offer workflow picks the right title slide for the offer type, keeps standard slides such as fees, travel costs and terms locked, and drafts the starting situation and approach from a short brief. A second workflow starts from an existing offer, and a CV workflow turns the consultants' Word CVs into slides.
The pilot was hands-on. In feedback sessions every week or two, Bianca and Tanja flagged where the output still broke their CI, from bullet spacing to font weights, and offgen tightened the rules after each round.
“There's no need to reinvent the wheel every time. For a lot of things, the right slides already exist.”
From one master file to the right deck for every site
In August, Bianca described what she actually wanted for the info pack:
“Ideally I just have a form, I pick Munich, Augsburg and Frankfurt, and only the relevant slides stay in.”
She built that workflow herself in one session with the offgen team. She enters the sites, offgen keeps the matching location slides, the fixed slides stay locked, and the result exports straight to PDF. When the content changes once a year, she updates one master instead of six copies.
Her second use case came with the new corporate design. Cross Consult still has training decks in the old layout, and moving them onto the new master with the offgen agent in PowerPoint is now her biggest open project.
“Right now, my biggest use case is moving old presentations into the new layout.”
What comes next
At the end of the pilot in September 2026, Cross Consult decided to keep offgen and moved to an annual licence. The choice of whose account it runs on said a lot about who had taken it on:
“The licence should run on my account, because I have the most use cases for offgen.”
Next on the list are the training decks still waiting for the new CI, and more of the acquisition material that is shared across sites.
It would be great to just press a button and get a presentation in our CI that is actually usable.
