Smart Suggestions intelligently recommends the most relevant actions based on your current selection and usage patterns—making Offgen faster and more intuitive.
What Are Smart Suggestions?
Smart Suggestions is an AI-powered recommendation system that:
- Analyzes context: Selection, slide, presentation state
- Learns patterns: Your frequently used actions
- Ranks relevance: Most useful actions appear first
- Filters dynamically: Only shows applicable actions
- Adapts continuously: Improves recommendations over time
Smart Suggestions puts the right actions at your fingertips at the right time—no hunting through menus.
How It Works
Context Analysis
When you select shapes, Smart Suggestions analyzes:
Selection Properties:
- Number of shapes selected
- Shape types (rectangles, circles, text boxes, etc.)
- Positions and alignment
- Sizes and dimensions
- Colors and formatting
Slide Context:
- Other shapes on slide
- Slide layout
- Overall composition
State:
- Recent actions
- Common workflows
- User patterns
Recommendation Engine
AI scores each action based on:
- Relevance: How applicable to current selection
- Frequency: How often you use it
- Recency: When you last used it
- Context fit: How well it matches situation
Example:
Selection: 5 shapes, different sizes, scattered positions
High Score Actions:
- Align Center (relevant: multiple shapes)
- Distribute Horizontal (relevant: arranging multiple)
- Get/Set Size (relevant: different sizes)
Low Score Actions:
- Switch (requires exactly 2 shapes)
- Distribute in Circle (works but less common)Dynamic Filtering
