# Security from the start

offgen.ai is operated by Aithera GmbH in Munich. We build AI tools for European businesses where security, privacy, and traceability are core product requirements. The managed service and its standard language models are hosted in the European Union, with no customer-data training by default. ISO 27001 certified and designed for GDPR-compliant processing.

## Where we stand.

- **ISO 27001 (Certified)**: Our information security management system is certified against ISO/IEC 27001 — the international benchmark for protecting customer data end-to-end.
- **GDPR (Active)**: The managed service is hosted in the European Union and data is processed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation. Data-subject rights, records of processing, and DPA are available on request.
